Rasaleela is a hindi word that originates from ancient Hinduism which means “Dance of Divine Love”. The brand was established back in 2002 by Trish Louey after she returned from living in India for several years.
Their fashion is inspired by vintage and ethnic prints which have now become Rasaleela’s signature style. “Our designs make you feel fantastic regardless of age, shape or size,” exclaims Trish.
Ethical Standards
Adopting fair trade practices by using traditional methods like hand block printing and hand embroidery, these designs and ethnic prints work with a combination of breathable, natural fibres such as Indian and Thai woven cotton and voile – they bring to you a unique range of Indo-Western clothing made for today’s chic woman.
Rasaleela's number one priority is to produce individual ethical fashion with a conscience and believe in giving back to the communities. Rasaleela works with providing financial support to the Fior DiLoto foundation in Rajasthan that educates girls who would otherwise receive no education and conducts social welfare programmes.
